Is it weird that I want to live in a more rural area?

I want to live in a mobile home in the country someday. I want to have a little barn or something I can make art in and just be at peace.

Sounds lovely. Especially in this economy.

I'm fortunate enough to rent a little house (upgraded cottage) on a farm. Aside from a dozen or so sheep, there's noone near enough to really bother me with loud music, partying, shouting etc.

Landlord has his own house on the farm that he lives in for a few days now and then throughout the year, but he's quiet and focused on gardening when he's here.
He's also Pantera's (my cat, not the band) best friend besides me.

@TheRealBarbossa That sounds honestly so ideal. I'd rather have sheep for my neighbors than a bunch of loud people. Also love the cat's name

That is my dream too. Get out of the city, buy a small log cabin with 10 acres and a lake/creek and live off grid. It is possible to live off grid and still be close to shopping. With 10 acres you can do what you want.
