separatetheheart Okay, your profile doesn't say where you're from and because this is an international website, it isn't obvious which standard of measure you're talking about. If your profile said you were an American, then I wouldn't have asked the question.
To your car: 100,000 miles on the odometer means the car is about 50,000 miles beyond the manufacturer's original warranty period in most cases, which also means the car is approaching its expiration date.
Having said that, expect things to start needing replacement sooner than later because everything will begin to fail at close to the same time. If your brother has already looked after this prior to giving you his car, then there's no problem.
