I will finally have a car.

My brother is getting a new one because he thinks his car is getting too high millage. I think he is approaching 100,000 for a 2019. He will be giving it to me so that's one positive thing.

Sounds like KPH not 100,000 mph? For mph thas something like 62,000mph. But these days esp in the UK, even 120,000mph is considered "not much."
Oooh.... that's gonna change life up a bit. 👍
How exciting !

@OogieBoogie the bus, uber's and Lyft's, bumming rides, walking and grocery delivery seriously eats money fast
@separatetheheart oh ...it does!
And it can eat time.

When my kid finally got their licence and car, it changed their transit time to work from 1:45min....to 20 minutes.
That's not including wait time at bus stops.

Youre gonna LUV IT !☺

@OogieBoogie Youre right about the time. I'm excited for the heated leather seats in this cold weather here. I've never had a car with those kinde of seats or a touchscreen

Less than 100000 not bad at all if it was maintained.

@Virgo79 That's what I was saying and he does take care of it but I'm just going to shut up and accept

@separatetheheart you should get over 1000000 out of it.
Fingers crossed

Okay, your profile doesn't say where you're from and because this is an international website, it isn't obvious which standard of measure you're talking about. If your profile said you were an American, then I wouldn't have asked the question.

To your car: 100,000 miles on the odometer means the car is about 50,000 miles beyond the manufacturer's original warranty period in most cases, which also means the car is approaching its expiration date.

Having said that, expect things to start needing replacement sooner than later because everything will begin to fail at close to the same time. If your brother has already looked after this prior to giving you his car, then there's no problem.
