I'm probably going to die from illness but it's ok since I won't be able to afford health insurance next year.

I can't afford it since those tax credits aren't a thing anymore. I don't have $400 extra to spare and I'm currently sick again. I'm just going to have to either die or hope it clears up on it's own. I can't afford to see a doctor right now anyway due to lack of funds. It's ok I'll probably get pnemonia that will last for months again at this rate. It's already moving into my lungs.

IF you should get pneumonia, I highly recommend that you go to the ER. There ARE hospitals that treat people without insurance. You can pay for antibiotics, and make arrangements with the hospital to make very small, affordable payments on your bill. The ex used to pay $10 a month on a $2000.00 bill.

One thing you haven't mentioned is ZINC. Zinc is available cheaply as an over the counter supplement, and 1/2 caplet of zinc in combination with 1000 mg vitamin C will help to combat your sinus issues.

@4meAndyou Honestly speaking I have several hospital bills from my past I never paid on for similar reasons. What does zinc do exactly?

@separatetheheart "Key Functions of Zinc
Immune Function: Zinc is vital for the development and function of immune cells. It helps the body fight off infections and may reduce the duration of the common cold.

Wound Healing: Zinc is important for skin health and is involved in the healing process of wounds. It aids in cell division and growth, which are essential for tissue repair.

DNA and Protein Synthesis: Zinc plays a critical role in the synthesis of DNA and proteins, which are necessary for cell growth and division.

Antioxidant Properties: As an antioxidant, zinc helps protect cells from oxidative stress and inflammation, potentially reducing the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease and cancer.

Taste and Smell: Zinc is necessary for the proper functioning of taste and smell. A deficiency can impair these senses.

Health Benefits
Supports Immune Health: Adequate zinc levels are associated with a stronger immune response, helping to prevent infections and illnesses.

May Improve Acne: Zinc's anti-inflammatory properties can help reduce acne symptoms and improve skin health.

Promotes Healthy Growth: Zinc is crucial during periods of rapid growth, such as childhood, adolescence, and pregnancy.

Potential Role in Sexual Health: Zinc is involved in testosterone production, which is important for sexual health in both men and women.

Dietary Sources
Zinc can be obtained from a variety of foods, including:
Meat (especially red meat and poultry)
Seafood (especially oysters, which are particularly high in zinc)
Beans and legumes
Nuts and seeds
Whole grains
Dairy products
Recommended Intake
The recommended daily allowance (RDA) for zinc varies by age and gender, typically ranging from 8 mg for adult women to 11 mg for adult men. Most people can meet their zinc needs through a balanced diet.
Verywell Health
Conclusion
Zinc is a vital mineral that supports many essential functions in the body, from immune health to wound healing and beyond. Ensuring adequate zinc intake through diet or supplements can contribute to overall health and well-being. If you suspect a deficiency or are considering supplements, it's advisable to consult with a healthcare provider."

I take 1/2 a caplet when I feel myself beginning to get sick. It works very well in conjuction with 100 mg of vitamin C, and a good nights sleep and plenty of fluids.

@separatetheheart By the way...and this is important...do not take zinc on an empty stomach. I highly recommend you buy some pepto bismol, also, and take that before every meal, since you say you might have ulcers.

Half the battle is knowing how to take care of YOURSELF.

What’s your living situation like? No damp or mold or cold making you ill? Cause your environment can effect your health too
Achelois · F
Be careful with what you tell yourself, your words and thoughts create your reality.

@separatetheheart

Could it be something you’re eating?

I had severe food allergies that caused so many issues many years ago, I cleaned up what I ate and they went away,

I had terrible lung issues at the time, doctors were useless, I found out it was the chemicals they put in our food.

Buttinksy me: Have you checked for mold in your living or working area. Not unusual for constant stuff to pop up..

@Neoerectus

Did you know that citric acid, which is in most foods, is made from black mold. Another thing that makes us sick.

The people that own the big branded food companies, also own the pharmaceutical companies.

I just signed up for next year and my health credits were still in tack. As a matter of fact with my credits my insurance went down $10 a month. My wife is on Medicare. Her insurance went up $40 a month.
separatetheheart · 31-35, M
@Musicman I wish mine stayed in tact. I'm happy to hear you still have yours.
Penny · 46-50, F
do you have bronchitis?
separatetheheart · 31-35, M
@Penny I did months ago and it turned into pnemonia however I think currently I have a sinus infection that's moving slowly into my lungs.
Penny · 46-50, F
@separatetheheart pneumonia can kill you. the er cant turn you away for lack of insurance and many hospitals have charity care as well that will cover the bill. have you tried garlic supplements? they may help as well. if you cant afford teh pills you can use regular garlic powder which is much cheaper though maybe not as palatable or lots of fresh garlic and licorice root tea is good for lung infections. (at least it is for bronchitis) yogi tea detox tea has licorice root in it. eta- if you get really bad id go to the er but try the tea and garlic if its not tooo bad maybe it will go away. also have lots of natural vit c in like oranges or kiwi and the like so your body can fight it off naturally too. vit c helps your body fight infections. mangoes are especially high in vit c too.
separatetheheart · 31-35, M
@Unefilletrescurieuse Based on previous illnesses it's most like upper respiratory/sinus infection moving into my chest. Over the counter meds aren't doing anything.
@separatetheheart If you can get some saline fine mist nasal spray put out by Vicks… or get a netti pot with saline rinses, you can clear your sinuses most of the time if it’s not too late.

Mucinex and drinking tons of water will help break up any congestion in lungs if not too late again.
Neoerectus · M
Take a trip to Canada or Europe.

Even outside their system it will be cheaper...
