In 1967 told my classmate, one day I'm going to get a brand new one. A Corvette, to which he just chuckled.

11yrs later pulled up to his house and he couldn't believe it as we spent the rest of the day cruising.

Once I dreamed I was going to be dematerialized and had just a few minutes to say something to my family because in a while I wouldn't be able to anymore.

That one popped into my mind first but I have many from years or a decade ago. What happened there isn't as interesting as visual memories of the places.

There are two dreams I'll never forget but I'll only talk about one.
I was flying from one rooftop to another during an overcast day. Just as I reached the corner of (I think) the fourth building I slipped but glided to the top of a house.

A pretty cool dream I had where I was a fly on the wall for some epic battle involving medieval and modern warfare. It was when I was a teen, when my sister and I shared a bedroom, and I remember being pissed at her for waking me up from it because it was such an entertaining dream, lol.

I won't go into details but it was a sexual dream. It was memorable because I almost NEVER have sex dreams. This was a very rare and explicit dream. It's uniqueness made it memorable.
