How the F**K do you afford rent as a student?

So instead of moving into student residence my grandpa moved in with one of his friends because that is the only way he would help pay for my tuition because student res is so expensive he wasn't gonna help with both. But honestly I barely have enough to actually pay rent, plus groceries plus school supplies plus drinks and plus recreational stuff lol. How do you pay for this stuff ?

I do psychotherapy training, I work 35 hours 3 days a week and I've got another job I'm training for which earns more but is self employed and flexible.

I don't go out drinking, I eat well but buy smart, I do activities that don't cost money like working out and running. Sacrifice now and you won't have to do it later 👌

If you've got time, get into massage or PT training to support yourself and stay flexible. I make 50-60 an hour from it on top of having reliable income.

It's tough, you have my sympathy 😆 believe me.
