Another update

So I complained to the BBB about this outside company charging me $1,600 just to see a doctor and refusing to match the hospitals discount and they asked for proof of my hospitals discount and promised to match. So I sent it and I guess we’ll see. Doesn’t mean I won’t be bankrupting but I’d like to see if they really will be giving me a 62% discount.

I think my ER bill back in 2004 was 17k$ not even counting the separate Dr bills 😳 like 20k for a hospital visit 😳

The BBB is nothing more than an advertising firm that businesses pay to use their logo to look more legit. They accomplish nothing.

@Morrowind Meds go do it, they denied you detox meds?

@NativePortlander1970 those were the detox meds I was given. (Librium) They worked though. I felt no withdrawal symptoms and that was why I was really struggling on my own. It was like waking up sober. But my caseworker has helped me not to relapse esp after getting that EMBCC bill. I lost it that day and she was a blessing helping me cope
