Why do they give you insane amounts of food at Chinese restaurants?

I ordered an orange chicken combination plate three days ago and I'm still eating off of it. Not sure if I just eat like a bird or if the portions are just that ginormous.

Three days? You eat like a bird! I can only get two days out of my Chinese meals. But they are large portioned, and yes you eat like a bird.
