What do you think dreams are as you're sleeping?

Poll - Total Votes: 8
Something your brain does to repair itself
Bits and pieces of a "second" life
Your mind trying to show you your inner thoughts
Kind of like just a mini movie in between sleeping
Your body trying to tell what you should do or how messed up you are
Hallucinations that's it

Try number 2 .....

The brain never shuts off.

We have all had those prolific and vivid dreams that seemed to be telling us something.
Answering a question we had been pondering ect...
Almost seems like divine intervention at times. Or is that just me?
I am bipolar and some medications I have taken in the past actually cause vivid dreams.
So when I make things sound like a fact I'm just drawing from those experiences.

So when your awake, your brain is mostly focused on the tasks at hand.

Fun fact: My un-medicated bipolar brain doesn't do that. It's literally like having two people in my head all the time. One works in the background....... Useless info I am sure. :-)

So has everyone had the pee dream?
The one where your panicking because you have to go so bad and all the bathrooms are out of order or something to that effect?
I guess that is what keeps you from peeing the bed all the time. LOL
Well that could also be the case where we have a question answered or speak with loved ones that have passed.
I am pretty sure it's just your brain doing what it does only with out up to date in put.
