This is a good question.
People like to put a lot of weight into the meaning of their dreams without putting as much thought into just what dreams could actually be.
I am not one of those. LOL
I tend to over think everything into the tiniest details. Except my damned comments on here. LOL

So lets look at what possible purpose, if any, dreams may hold.
Oh and I hope you were actually looking for an answer and not just screwing around. LOL
and I am bipolar and it has it's distinct characteristics that I am drawing from with this.

So the brain never shuts off.
It's just entertaining itself.

@royalblue1193 Dude. I seriously have a lot of time with this subject.
I must have a 2 1/2 hour long power point presentation on it.
I relate everything back to the pee dream. Something everyone can relate to.
Dang but just as I started to get into it, my brain decided it was to much to try and cover and shut it down. LOL
I will try again tho.
It's safer than my 2 1/2 hour power point on religion.
Oh god I won't make that mistake again. LOL
