If Canada becomes the 51st U.S state would we get voting rights?
We'd have to get at least as many electoral college seats as California. We could really swing a few elections.
Canada is a sovereign nation. Trump’s rhetoric is just that…rhetoric! The man has a knack for espousing many things, some intentionally to state an objective he has. Others are to trigger people and the fact is he is a master at that.

Canada actually has enough financial resources through oil and rare minerals which the USA does not have, that Canada could buy the entire United States of America and pay cash for it.
Trudeau brought this to Trump's attention and offered to buy the USA out of their paralyzing $36Trillion National Debt by making the USA Canada's 11th Province ..or name the USA Canada's southern Territory to make an even 4 territories that Canada would manage. But Trump was so annoyed at Trudeau for bringing up America's near-total insolvency disaster that he wouldn't even answer him on social media! 😆
Trump is such a loser and we just laugh at his antics up here.... and to think that half of all Americans who voted, actually voted for that imbecile is too incredulous for words, but totally believable if one knows how the American mind rationalizes creative thought on a good day.

@NativePortlander1970 i cant speak for everyone but im sure the majority does not want to be american. We have very different reputations internationally.
