If you remember the dial up internet how long did it take to get online?

It took me a long time because my parents would make me do chores before they'd let me use the pc 😅😅

20 to 30 seconds?
I dont remember...
but it took me hours and hours to get offline.

I think 30 seconds at its fastest at 56k near the end of dial-up and almost 3 minutes when its was 14k at slowest when the internet was new

It only took a minute or so to hook up, but the webpages still took forever to load up.

Yes I remember that shit LOL I had it towards the end of its era it was definitely annoying although I did love the AOL chat rooms they could get interesting sometimes
