If you had to eat somewhere you didn't like much how would you try to work through it or try to compromise as much as possible?

Depends on the situation.
If it will be ride, you eat anyhow. maybe not much.
At a restaurant? Be brave, find something you've never tried and go for it. Or jsut get a side of something, like vegetables.

Only order items with no gluten or lactose. That's the best I could do

I dunno. Is it just something like Mc Donalds or is it some extreme place where half of the meat dishes are raw ?
