Do strangers randomly come up to you in public ?? If they do, what usually is their reason ??

In the days when I frequented bars, I seemed to attract the drunk guys who wanted to unload their entire life story.

They did buy me drinks to keep me from leaving! But that only worked up to a point, and then I was out of there!

@DrWatson I grew up near a mental hospital when I was a kid and my bus stop was very close to it. I could see them scanning the crowd waiting for the bus until they saw me and I knew they would approach. Now it happens less frequently. My wife keeps talking to them forever though, I have to pull her away lol
