I’m glad that you had a weapon to protect yourself and your family, to many people are afraid of weapons to defend themselves from harm

@Prison1203 my dad taught me how to shoot when I was a teenager and with my husband out of town so much for work we invested in some weapons for safety reasons.

@minnygirl all my family have weapons and carry them daily, my step father and I taught my youngest daughter how to shoot from the age of Six, she was shooting a .22 revolver at the age of 8 she shot her first .45 by herself, her now husband is a gun guy that carries every day like myself, my 81 year old mom and my 65 year old wife. We all carry religiously. Better safe than sorry.

@Prison1203 So, how many bad hombres did you and your extended family take down?

I've had a concealed carry permit for many years and thankfully I've never had to present the pistol to defend myself. I also carry insurance just in case, God bless you all.

That’s very scary. If it was a dream, they can be so realistic that they affect your emotions like they would as if it was reality. I’ve woken up sobbing my heart out, and even laughing because of dreams. I’m glad you were safe.

Think you get those kind of dreams when you’re a mother. My mum used to say to me she had terrifying dreams and really psychotic day dreams. She also used to keep a kitchen knife under her pillow. My dad worked away a lot.

I am reminded of the guy who saw something moving in the dark at the end of his bed and shot his big toe off!

I've had that the worst dream ever, somebody is in the house.

Do you live in a crime infested neighborhood.
