Have you ever said no to donating?

Oh yeah. I never donate to anything a store is collecting money for. Walmart tried to get us to donate to something at least once a week. I figured that they would collect the money and then the corporation would give it to charities and get a tax write off for it. They sure knew how to hire people that qualified for a lot of things that would give them tax credits, and that was part of what was wrong with the stores. Hiring people who weren’t qualified to do even a cart-pushing job, there were several there that were let go after having to deal with them for over a year. Went to Ross on Sunday and they were asking customers if they wanted to donate to a children’s charity and every time someone donated even a dollar they’d get on the loudspeaker and announce it and yell “Woo-Hoo!” That got old in a hurry listening to it while shopping.
