put a group of people that love the same thing together and it's bound to be a toxic environment. that's why i personally stay away from fanbases/communities etc.

Maybe its backlash from the remarks made by a celebrity, team, or company. I dunno I keep hearing the term "toxic male demographic" as new scapegoat. Its pretty disrespectful to the fans when they keep getting bashed by the franchise, etc. But is it the fans fault for having a standard of expectations of what they want? I usually just keep my nose out of it.

They get obsessed, celebrities work hard on creating an identity so people relate to that brand because of their own problems in life. It can get a bit out of control

@GlitterEater I know a guy who is a bad person and he is not toxic. You would expect a bad person to be toxic. Do I like him no he did things to other people, but when it comes to me he hurts me mentaly insteaed physicly, I think it is because he knows in a fight I would win.
