Childhood Perceptions

This is something of an anecdote regarding the way I viewed the world in the halcyon days of my youth. As far back as the age of 6, I thought that terminologies like "Left-Wing" and "Right-Wing" only applied to three things... Birds, planes and positions in the sport of Ice Hockey. Also around that age, I used to think that a leftist was a left-handed person and that a rightist was not only a right-handed person, but a person who always did the right thing and always had the right answer for everything. Also around that age, I wondered... If a leftist is a left-handed person and a rightist is a right-handed person is a rightist, then what about people are both-handed...? Bothists? And that was before I heard the word, ambidexterous. Of course, recounting this in my 30's, I know now, this is far from the case, but all the same, I just wanted to share this little anecdote.
That is funny and cute. I'm sure you miss being that innocent.
