Some of us just aren't strong enough to fight as hard as the rest of you. In my case, it's my health and energy levels (always low).
When there is conflict I feel I have to be the passive peacekeeper because my physical strength is not there and my mental strength is low. I don't feel morally superior, but I do try to be the best and most ethical person I can, and do as little harm as possible to others. 🌷

This isn't personal, so no, I really dont feel one way or the other.
But, objectively, if someone is winning in every real, tangible, way, why should they feel bad about a platitude?
Especially when that platitude is all their vanquished foe has in this world?
I would imagine if it didn't make your foe pity you, it would make them laugh instead.
