Ours ended up caught on his little hamster wheel with his foot broken and really messed up. He wasn't dead, but not at all having a good time and just seemed to get worse. Ultimately, we put him in the freezer to put him out of his misery. He was a good little fellow that we named RB(rat bastard).

I think I had one that died peacefully. The others were insane shit.
