I thought you were Jedi?
SW-User
@DownTheStreet Indeed, young padawan. The force is strong with you.
DownTheStreet · 56-60, M
@SW-User I’m a retire Jedi. Too much drama in that circle.
deadgerbil · 26-30

SW-User
@SW-User Many people say i make them feel comfortable. Not sure why. But thank you 😊
Elessar · 26-30, M
Take one of those DNA sequencing tests and you'll find out you have maple syrup in your veins 😌🇨🇦
SW-User
@Elessar Highly unlikely though, since i do not like very sweet things much.

That's just an international thing.
You need to say "aboot" for "about", end sentences with "Eh?", talk about hockey and how much you love it and other cold weather activities, mention "Boxing day", refer to "First Peoples", talk about Anne Murray, Gordon Lightfoot, and Rush, engage in debates about the two Margarets, complain about your MP...
AND do all of this in French, after doing it in English.

Can you deadlift a moose with your bare hands? Can you drink your own body weight in whiskey and then skillfully operate a deisel tractor? Is your blood thicker than maple syrup? Do women adore you and men envy you wherever you go? If you answered yes to any of these then you might be a Canadian.
Saying "Sorry" a lot can be common among people who have been abused in the past.
They get so used to saying it all the time that it comes out without even thinking about it.
I can assure you that not everyone who has been abused happens to be Canadian.

BittersweetPotato · 31-35, F
I also noticed recently that I say sorry a lot with and without a reason, and when people bring me coffee in cafes I have to say thank you along with their every move until they leave my table 🤣 but that's fine, a little courtesy never heard anyone 🥔🥴
XDHyperGirlXD1 · 31-35, F
No i think your secretly using the dark side of the force 😳
XDHyperGirlXD1 · 31-35, F

XDHyperGirlXD1 · 31-35, F
@SW-User you homer Simpson 😦
SW-User
Truth, we'd never admit if we felt it was our flaw? We might say it if we felt we might gain from our humility? I'm allowed critiquing Canadians :)
SW-User
Canadians say sorry? LOL
That's a first. My encounter here with Canadians have been interesting. At least the ones i met were never sorry 🤭

Getting in practice at fitting in, that makes sense
UnderLockDown · M
It's all aboot how you pronounce it. Do you say "sorry", or "so-rry"?
TheSirfurryanimalWales · 61-69, M
Are you eating pancakes with Maple Syrup?
That would clinch it.

SW-User
