* By the way healthcare and education (including university ) is free for all citizens in Saudi.
@Moon3624 not technically. Abuse is a crime. Sadly your country doesn’t have the best track record for how your women are treated.

@LookingForTheSummer
I am open to criticism and I criticize my own country sometimes with constructive criticism
No country should ever be content with their present anyways but aspire to improve always.

But I do stand against blatant lies or misconceptions
Esp when someone deliberately gets off topic.

And I didn’t assume ur “hate “
You straight up shared things ab me to someone else in a rude manner
without asking me first what is my stance.

And if u r weirdly bothered by the fact I am from Saudi and that I post ab it and ur filled with negativity to share
Then
simply get off my content

Another assumption. Lol
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@LookingForTheSummer if it’s just an assumption then I am glad
Then that means ur not bothered and actually like it

So it’s a win for me 😝💕
When Saudi Arabia is more progressive and doing better that should be a huge red flag to any nation claiming to be the best place on earth.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow
I think this has been the law for a long time in Saudi.
personally, I have no issue with the Saudi law I actually find it to some extent balancing and logical
but everyone thinks differently hence I made this poll.

and btw ur comment reminded me of this headline “Saudi abortion law more forgiving than Alabamas “
😭😂
But honestly every country got its problems
@Moon3624 I don't agree with most of their laws but this makes sense and shows have much the US has gone off the deep end.

Even Iran has some better positions on trans people than western nations despite it being portrayed as evil.
I agree with some things and others not.

“ I understand that but if spousal rape isn’t illegal then how will she prove that an unwanted pregnancy will be to her detriment if she needs her rapist’s consent? Even if he is her husband. Can’t you see how oppressive for women and young girls are? And yes I understand there are laws the prohibit rape…but not rape of your spouse. Question. Is there one country that has laws for men’s bodies like there are countries that have laws for women’s bodies?”

Marriage is based on the strict consent of both partners in Saudi
And naturally “sex “ in marriage is something wanted by both and desired
However If the relationship ends up to be abusive and
Sex turns into rape
The woman do go to court with their solid case and do get divorce
Wether with or without their father
I know of women who did get their divorce easily
It’s easier to do it in Saudi than portrayed.
As for how this plays out when it comes to abortion depends on her physicians and her case and I am no expert.

“Question. Is there one country that has laws for men’s bodies like there are countries that have laws for women’s bodies?”

I’d love to answer but I don’t have enough knowledge about each and every country to answer that lol
But in Saudi both genders must dress modestly.
But wearing Abaya or covering head or and face is not obligatory in Saudi Arabia but a personal choice
Which is a step forward.
Actually Saudi Arabia before the 70s and 80s
Women had freedom of choosing what to wear
(I have pics of my mom in her 20s with no hijab and normal skirt and blouse in the heart of Saudi with my dad)
but then extremists entered and took control in many sectors and pushed Saudi into a dark period
Until recently the gov started to get rid of this extremism , came out live and apologized and promised to improve
Hence I look forward to the fulfillment of vision 2030 and what follows it
@Moon3624 it sounds like moves in the right direction and I wish your country and the women and men in it all the best.
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@LilithoftheTrees and I wish for your country and the world in general the same kind wishes 💕
I don't think most people will get the point of this post.

Sadly, They will most likely argue with you and talk down about something else so that they would feel better about themselves.
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@Ihopetolivehappily exactly your spoke my thoughts
Elessar · 26-30, M
No, I don't, but I can't help noticing how even Saudi's law is more lax than it is in some parts of the U.S.
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@Elessar which parts?
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Moon3624 For instance: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/arkansas-abortion-ban-hutchinson-roe-v-wade-b2109705.html
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@Elessar oh wow
LookingForTheSummer · 31-35, M
Well, apparently, it's legal only under certain circumstances. So, I disagree with that.
IronHamster · 56-60, M
It's pretty easy to claim incest when you marry your cousins.
IronHamster · 56-60, M
@Moon3624 It is a Muslim thing. Even MHMD PBOH described heaven as having virgin women and brown eyed boys. I am relieved to know you have been spared from exposure to this practice.
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@IronHamster
My post is about abortion law in Saudi
Please read the post you are commenting on before actually commenting , it’s the bare minimum😅 however you have been jumping between a thousand topics
all non relevant to my post

In heaven the soul gets whatever it desires
Wether you are a male or a female
What you desire you shall get
(Az-Zukhruf - Verse 71
There will be whatever the souls desire and the eyes delight in. And you will be there forever.)
A simple rule🤷‍♀️

And
Apparently nowadays a man can be in an open relationship where he is dating multiple women and they all want it and consent to it
That is apparently “freedom “

But in heaven when a person with their consent wants that kind of bliss and God creates a special creation just for that
and they all live happily in paradise and in bliss
It is wrong ?

As for “brown eyed boys “
I don’t know where you got that information

in heaven there will be a special youth, A special creation ( not humans from earth )
which will look like scattered pearls.
Their job is to serve you “FOOD”
According to the Quran (56:18)
Not to fuck them or whatever idea that crossed your mind
That is your mindset
Not what the Quran says.

Feel free to learn “your ” Islam from Islamphobe sites just like someone learning Judaism from hitler.

This post is strictly political about abortion so from now on try
Stick to that
Kindly

“ I am relieved to know you have been spared from exposure to this practice.”

Yeah my country is safer than usa statistically speaking
so surely I have higher chances to be spared from this practice than someone from usa

I am relieved to know you have been spared from exposure to this practice too
lmao
But Americans are the most free right? 😂
@TheLustyLord It makes total sense when you realize they mean freedom of capital, not freedom for you.
This is surprising, consodering their other laws concerning women .

It only goes to highlight how backwards the turn around of roe/wade in america is .

If a country that has so many limiting laws towards women, ( no offence intended), can do this, what is the trend for america?
And what does this new overturn of law indicate for its future ?

When even highly religous countries that limit women's freedom , can do this ?

But when it comes to golf, that's where people draw the line
lacrossegirl25 · 22-25, F
@Moon3624 People are so outraged because of the LIV Tour, backed by Saudi, and competition for the PGA Tour
Moon3624 · 18-21, F
@lacrossegirl25 haha so ur a golf fan?
lacrossegirl25 · 22-25, F
@Moon3624 A little, I just read it a few days ago...I play lacrosse, but I have friends on the Team
@Moon3624 I realize that. But in fairness we were talking about your country specifically. We can discuss how mine treat women as well if you like.
drhhh · 41-45, M
@Moon3624 cultural differences will now allow many persons here to understand laws and regulations in KSA
