No offense but I literally can’t process the fact that some people genuinely care about me

I am not joking, my brain has a couple of wires crossed here and there

It's likely linked to some form of self belief you have or picked up from your past.
If your self esteem/image isn't good you don't see yourself objectively, we project our internal intuition onto others, meaning we project our experience of ourselves onto them.
So we think because we don't care about ourselves that other people wouldn't either. Then we limit ourselves because of that and close off.

But you don't see the good so much, I don't know you but I can tell from my own experience that this is probably what's happening. There's gonna be lots of things that make you likeable that you don't see but I think if you're like I was at the same age there might be some negative beliefs and most importantly HABITS that you may need to work on breaking over time eg. having a negative voice/thoughts, putting yourself down, having unrealistic expectations of yourself/setting yourself up to fail mentally (self sabotage).

It's learning to be kind to yourself, and you should because you're worth the effort as you'll find out. I went through the same thing and it was hard, but I speak as someone who's a much more confident, happy, and kind person especially to myself. Look after yourself ❤️ and if you ever want some advice or insight regarding this I'm happy to help.

You get treated like shit enough you're gonna find it difficult to not get treated like shit.
@CountScrofula or sometimes, you don’t at all… but you’re convinced, that’s what you deserve. mind is a funny place.

Just imagine someone you're familiar with, who makes you laugh, and hasn't done anything against you. That's what you are to me.
You make me laugh. I don't know.

I think you hate on yourself a little too much.
I pray for you all the time. 🖤🤗

Don’t worry it will pass

One of my closest friends has that. No idea if it's a delusion brought on by severe depression or what but their brain will not let them believe that people are fighting for them.
@uncalled4 my thoughts are my reality. I wish it was that simple.

@JustGoneNow I realize it's true, but I don't waver when faced with someone in that mode. I'm just devil's advocate because it's all I can be.
@uncalled4 you do what you can do. Same as all of us. I respect that.
