If I were god I would straight up get rid of carbon

Ehhh I'd get rid of all the sources of it that we could extract from the ground as well as methane and anything that both warms the planet and is useful as energy The natural sources can stay but literally every well that you could drill it out of every microbe that we could colonize to create it all the research that went into it would disappear and a seal would be placed on people's brains to make them unable to even wrap their head around it ever again so that path was permanently blocked off literally there would be no amount of research that could ever lead to oil production again even if we devoted all of our efforts as a species to it it would be irreversibly and permanently out of reach and beyond all hope of repair. choking off all research avenues to fossil fuel production.


then I'd just stand back and watch the world be forced to clean up it's act or watch civilization crumble.

Then nothing would live

If I were God, I would become invincible but do the right things.
