It was way past time.
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@ChrisNBillings I think so too. He is leaving in good health and without serious injury. All are good things and a good time to leave the game.
ChrisNBillings · 26-30, M

bet football fans everywhere feel a little deflated today
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@saragoodtimes Wow! That is worth some serious coin. Those are three of a kind that beat a Full House! What a bunch of characters.
@HoraceGreenley it's in a safe deposit box he won't part with it. doubt my brother will when it becomes his
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@saragoodtimes Why would they? Sports memorabilia is not my thing, but i would never part with it.

i do have a playbook signed by Joe Namath when i went to his football camp as a kid.

I also have a signed football and Hall of Fame card signed by Sammy Baugh (not easy to get those).
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
He can obviously still play at a high level. But now that he has the player record of 7 Superbowl rings he really doesn't have anything left to play for now.

Charles Haley has 6 rings and neither one of these guys is going to get caught by another player anytime soon.
TexChik · F
Wow! I suspected he might after what he said about his wife’s comments. Definitely the GOAT
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@TexChik His wife has wanted him to retire for years. It's got to be tough on the family.
TexChik · F
@HoraceGreenley Not at all , they have all the money in the world. He has never quoted his wife like he had been this year.
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@TexChik True but his side businesses have not done that well. And it wasn't until about 10 years ago that he made more money than his wife.
I knew he would retire as soon as Gronk said he wasn't coming back
Synyster · 51-55, M
@ExperienceDLT
I thought the exact same.
FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
He has kids to care for

@FreeSpirit1
I can throw Mahomes off a cliff and do us all a favor.
MarineBob · 56-60, M
New medicare spokesman
Slade · 56-60, M
He's long talked of going into politics (he's a Republican)

Makes sense, he's gonna need something hyper competitive in which to be engaged
I began to wonder if he'd ever hang up his cleats. LOL. Simply the best.
TexChik · F
@BizSuitStacy I doubt he will go the way of broadcasting any time soon if ever.
Spokeskitties75 · 46-50, M
He will be selling swampland in Florida before you know it!
NotJamieM · 46-50, M
I'm just surprised he didn't stick for one more year. The BUCS were loaded and he didn't seem to have lost anything. But he's won more super bowls than any TEAM, lol, so nothing wrong with going out on top like that.
graphite · 61-69, M
In his last Super Bowl, one of the referees was a woman who named her kid after him. Meanwhile, Brady got call after call after call. Good riddance to the NFL's Golden Boy.
I'd just about put money on it that Bruce Arians retires too
@ExperienceDLT maybe, that bucs team is loaded with talent on both sides of the ball.
@checkoutanytime without a quarterback they are toast
Bri89 · 31-35, M
It was a long time coming. It'll just be sad to never see the likes of him on the football field anymore.
ron122 · 41-45, M
There are reports coming out now saying not so fast. He hasn't made a final decision on retirement.
FreestyleArt · 31-35, M
I found out He didn't made a decision yet. ESPN Clowns was called out as false flag. Even His dad call them out

Synyster · 51-55, M
It was time, regardless of all the haters, he was the GOAT.
JohnOinger · 41-45, M
@Synyster he was great
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
Never heard of her, sorry! 🤷‍♀️
ShaneMckay · 41-45, M
I heard Joe Magmun retired too!
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
Does he play football or soccer 🤣
ron122 · 41-45, M
@iamonfire696 He plays water polo😜
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
@ron122 even I don’t think that sounds right 🤣
