What's the worst thing your parents ever told you?
In my case, it's "I was gonna say I was looking forward to meet my new son in law for april fools, but decided not to cause noone would believe you had a boyfriend"

My mom is a very religious person and the worst thing she ever told me was about hell at around 5yo. which is a level of traumatic fearmongering i would call child abuse.
@bugeye I think forcing a kid into religion IS child abuse. Then controlling them with ugly stories about how they'll be punished if they don't blindly obey. I figured out that it was all BS when I was 9.
