"The religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend a personal God and avoid dogma and theology. ... The cosmic religious feeling is the strongest and noblest motive for scientific research."
Albert Einstein, 1930 essay "Religion and Science" (published in Nature, November 9, 1930)
Einstein linked that "cosmic" religion to ideas found in Hinduism—he praised the Bhagavad-Gita and described its outlook as close to the kind of non‑personal, pantheistic feeling he favored.

Now why Hinduism, of all the known religions? Even the Gita, that he was looking at, condoned the cast system. 😖
This really made me think, just what type of beliefs people support.

When Donald Trump shared a video that dreamed of a “unified reich” if he wins the US presidential election, and took nearly a full day to remove it, the most shocking thing was how unshocking it was.
Trump has reportedly said before that Adolf Hitler did “some good things”, echoed the Nazi dictator by calling his political opponents “vermin” and saying immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our country”, and responded to a white supremacist march in Charlottesville by claiming that there were “very fine people on both sides”. - - as compiled by The Guardian

No more casualties - on both sides - if at all possible.
I'm not sure - what do you think about this - if the generals knew this wasn't going to be a walk in the park but Hegseth or Trump thought otherwise and overruled those who knew better.

You know, I'm not very good at making a point or arguing. As you found out lol.
I'm changing my quote choice to one from a person I've always admired: the late, great entertainer Jimmy Durante.
Why can't everyone leave everyone else the hell alone?

This quote by Mahatma Gandhi, a teacher told it to us in class one day, and its been with me ever since
Remember that all through history, there have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they seem invincible. But in the end, they always fall. Always.

Well Lincoln told a little yarn and the quote was different but 'sayin it don't make it so' is my favorite quote and it does make you think how many of us will just say anything, but that don't make it so..
