What is truth? What sets the standard for truth?

Is everyone’s opinion of truth different? For the most part we all been brought up in cultures from our parents and we grow and we choose our own culture or stay with the same.

Please I’d like to hear all opinions and also for my Christian brothers and sisters… an answer without quoting a scripture please. Or saying God.🌞🙏🏿 there’s a method to the madness.🫡
Science tries to get at facts. I’ll go with that. Facts over opinions.

@BiasForAction what’s the most accepted definition of a fact?
@Heavenlywarrior I think I already mentioned science—more specifically the scientific weight of evidence. That’s my definition.

The way I see it : picture a table in your garden and place 10 people around sitting on the lawn. People will view the table from different angles therefore each will have a slice of the entire view. Part of the explanation anyway.

@revenant good example.

Truth? I mean if I get right down to brass tax I think there's factual about it.

The fundamental nature of our mind distorts and creates our reality.

@Tarxarin it seems like everyone just about agrees it’s about facts and witnesses to the fact being proven on account

oops I misread. Well Truth is what is acceptable and advantageous to a few really.

@ProfessorPlum77 just like when Gerard Butler says in the movie “Law Abiding citizen”. It’s Not What you know, It’s what you can prove in court!
