Construction sites = slow traffic xD
Color theory: orange can apparently make you somewhat alert (slightly higher heart rate - some may be more sensitive to this effect).
Stress: it can make you look for cooler, or neutral colors instinctively - they could make you feel more securegrounded. Have you noticed having "color phases" in life? They are influenced by your state of mind at that part of life (your environment can influence it too).
