I literally got this name from my homies. I'm part native (Yaqui) & my homies asked me one day "what's your native name?" I said "idk probably some shit like 'he who runs with water'" & they were like, "nah more like 'he who runs with 40oz" 🤣
So that's what I named myself 🤷 then one day I changed "runs" to "walks" because I felt like it was more relaxed. Who wants to RUN with a 40?

One of them during war, 40 years ago. Received some metal in my left hip und upper leg. Till was posible to have medical attention, not inmediatly, I did what others found important even if I can not remember them well. So I became a kind of moderate well known one, called by others El Rengo. Such nickname remains beinf used by my old friends of that time.
A second source is more rooted in the emotional domain. Lost the woman I loved more than life. And since then I feel I walk life in one leg.

@Ghostinthemachine I like to roll the dry fillets (not wet with milk or water) in corn meal. Pan fry in olive oil. I also sometimes just cook a whole fish over a smokey fire. How about you?

@sirenofthesea I was standing by the waters edge, and my uncle and I were debating whether we could swim across the channel, when something large and pale surfaced and splashed the water before disappearing. We caught a glimpse of the body and tail. Perhaps is was a beluga…maybe not
