That's a made-up story. Who told you that lie?

I read an article where he whined about how Obama chews his food. Such personal details should always be kept just between the married couple.

I'm just waiting to see her climb the outside of the Empire State Building like her ancestor
DavidBianchet2 · 56-60, M
I don't think she wants to be. But, I'd vote for her.
calicuz · 56-60, M
No, I don't think so. I really don't think she has a real shot at the Democratic nomination. I think we need younger candidates who understand the future of the country, and the importance of governing AI responsibly. The age of American greed needs to come to an end, and the future embarrassed with the responsibility of phasing it out wisely.
bookerdana · M
@calicuz At the very least she would understand the position and how to wield power wisely
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@calicuz What they need is someone interested in doing what the US citizens want done. Not what George Sores and a few of his friends want done.
calicuz · 56-60, M
@nudistsueaz

True, one of the first steps is legislating out legelized bribery.
HumanEarth · F
You mean Michael
Iwillwait · M
@HumanEarth Don't apologise, for your reply. No need.
HumanEarth · F
@Iwillwait oh, I will because she is my friend. We see things differently politically, but never the less. Still a friend
BabyLonia · F
@HumanEarth why do you find it funny mis-gendering a person?
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
She would have to say she even wants to run first.

And I wouldn't blame her if she wouldn't.
I agree with your conclusion that Mrs BO will never be president? @DeWayfarer

Doubt they'll make the mistake of electing one of her kind again
Charity · 70-79
No, she has already said no, and I don't blame her in 8 years former president Obama went from having all black hair to all white hair -- those Republicans in the house and Senate fought him every inch and Mitch O'Connell stated he would when president Obama was elected.
Jake966 · 56-60, M
@Charity and the Democrats are doing the same thing with Trump

@Jake966

No they're not, THEY HAVE NO POWER

the Democrats don't control the house or the Senate nor have they under Trump, the Republicans do __ When Obama was in office Democrats had control over the house and senate for exactly 4 months - not 2 years as many would like to say because a few Democrats was out sick or died, if you're not there you can't vote....... Midterm elections of 2010 Democrats lost 9 seats in the Senate and 13 seats in the House and Republicans held control of both to the end of President Obama's term.

Bark could be the First Lady. 🤣😂
gregloa · 61-69, M
No it’s a man. It still won’t ever be president. What is the thing about presidents wives being president some day???
calicuz · 56-60, M
@bookerdana

No one ever claimed that "free speech" couldn't come back to bite one in the a$$. 😂 🇺🇸
bookerdana · M
@calicuz At least Noems hubby will have lots of make up to borrow....

Fun Fact

President Woodrow Wilson suffered a massive stroke in October 1919, after which his wife, Edith Wilson, effectively managed the executive branch of the U.S. government for nearly 17 months. Edith Wilson concealed the severity of his incapacitation, controlling access to the president and deciding which matters of state were addressed until his term ended in March 1921
bookerdana · M
@fun4us2b Facts!
fun4us2b · M
I think she's smart enough - as long as she doesn't pander to the extremes and focuses on good policies. She's definitely up to the job.

But to answer the question...I predict - No....
Thrust · 56-60, M
@fun4us2b

She's definitely up to the job.

Based on (this ought to be could)?

Ps. President of the United States is not an entry level job
I don't think so
ROFL!!!!
Never think your way out of this! Just be smug!
JovialMoose · 51-55, M
Let's not be dumb and choose celebrity over experience.
BabyLonia · F
@JovialMoose isn't that what people did with Trump?
I doubt she wants to, and even though I would vote for her if she did, I hope she doesn’t. As evil and racist as the MAGAs are now, I worry about her (and her husband’s) safety.
ItsMeMorgue · 46-50, F
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout She has given birth twice.
@ItsMeMorgue show me 1x pic of 'her' preggers...
Picklebobble2 · 61-69, M
I would imagine she's probably had more than enough scrutiny on everything she's ever done in public life to even consider it.

Although, one should remember detractors are never shy in coming forward and making their views known (no matter how much or little influence they believe they have)

If polls revealed there might be public support for the idea, the question is would she be able to say no ?
Midlifemale · 61-69, M
NEVER ! Ihope
faery · F
No, for a few reasons, not least of which is that she's uninterested.
Alyosha · 36-40, M
She's already stated she doesn't feel like that's the lifestyle for her. It was her husband's project, not hers, and I'd leave it at that.
Jake966 · 56-60, M
swirlie · 31-35, F
No, but I think Kamala Harris might take another run at it.

True, she didn't want it for her husband either because she could foresee the outcome well in advance... and she was right.
val70 · 56-60
@swirlie In order to lead one needs to become a servant. It's during Holy Week an appropriate message
swirlie · 31-35, F
@val70
Who told you that?
Musicman · 61-69, M
Wouldn’t one have to be a woman to be “the first woman president”?
