No. Global drug companies generally recover their Research and Development (R&D) costs across their entire global sales portfolio. R&D is a sunk cost for the company, meaning a portion of the revenue from every single sale. I got that online, i am jut glad that the cost of medicine in the US is going up as the free market is deciding the rate! Yes!

@Steph34 global pharmaceutical pricing isn't something that concerns me. We go to Mexico a couple of times a year and the same meds we have here, made by the same companies are sold there. Just much, much cheaper.
