What law is Donald Trump breaking? Where is it in statute?

8 U.S. Code § 1325 - Improper entry by alien is an actual U.S. law that everyone who has entered the country illegally has broken.

What law is Trump breaking by deporting them? Inquiring minds want to know.

@CougarLisa yeah! You're a modern country people invest in, do business in! Travel to, have a second home in!
Or, you were!
James1956 · 61-69, M
@James1956 no laws are broken when everyone stops investing in the USA, stops going to college there, stops parking yachts and money, there.

The Dems law.
It's illegal for you to beat us in elections.
Guilty.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
Well his killing people in boats off of Venezuela is certainly against international and domestic law. .

Who's saying that the US government should not enforce US Code 1325?
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@justbob

Article I, Section 9 of the Constitution, which protects the writ, andSection 2241 of Title 28 of the U.S. Code.

Also undocumented immigration is a civil matter, not a criminal matter.
Misdemeanour differs from felony.

I studied law before switching to computer science.

@basilfawlty89 Excellent! Well done and thank you very much. I will read those.

@justbob

But they keep claiming that he is breaking the law and I want to know what law that is. Doesn't seem like much for me to ask.

They... Who are they?

Your post is about U.S. Code 1325. So, can you possibly stick to your own post? I provided an answer, so you should emerge from the rock you're under (Fox).

If you'e asking what laws Trump could be breaking, the list includes:

Habeas Corpus: The privilege of habeas corpus cannot be suspended unless public safety requires it during a rebellion or invasion.

Bills of Attainder and Ex Post Facto Laws: Congress cannot pass laws that declare a person guilty of a crime without a trial or laws that make an action illegal after it has already been committed.

Direct Taxes: Congress cannot levy a direct tax (like a poll tax) unless it is in proportion to the census.

Appropriations: Money can only be drawn from the Treasury through appropriations made by law.

Foreign Emoluments: No person holding a public office can accept any gift, office, or title from a foreign state without Congressional consent.

But that's not really what the No Kings Day is about.

So, what exactly are you talking about?

Lol do you actually care if anyone answers who isn't just applauding for you?
gregloa · 61-69, M
@BorealPedant
Oh ok expert. Were you there? Did you witness any arrests? Illegals have no constitutional rights. Ice are federal agents. They are doing their job. If an individual resists or fails to produce legal documents or id then ice agents have no choice but to detain them for further investigation. That is due process. Anyone that tries to interfere is obstructing justice. Your statement is a flat lie and the sad part is you believe it.
BorealPedant · 41-45, M
@gregloa I literally pasted information from a court of law that says they have constitutional right to due process.

The fifth amendment says no PERSON not no CITIZEN.

It's your constitution if you don't like it maybe the people in charge should change it and write some laws or something.
gregloa · 61-69, M
@BorealPedant 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂please stop. 🤣😂🤣😂 can’t stand it anymore. 🤣😂🤣😂

gregloa · 61-69, M
@ZoeGrace19 no laws were broken. 1st off no Americans were deported. 🤣😂 what send them back to America?🤣😂 Americans were and will be detained for interfering with a federal investigation. 🤣😂🤣😂 what a ludicrous accusation against Trump. 🤣😂🤣😂

In Bob's case though, he should be careful with the laughter. He's old, could have a cardiac event.
