What law is Donald Trump breaking? Where is it in statute?

8 U.S. Code § 1325 - Improper entry by alien is an actual U.S. law that everyone who has entered the country illegally has broken.

What law is Trump breaking by deporting them? Inquiring minds want to know.

Who's saying that the US government should not enforce US Code 1325?
justbob · 61-69, M
@Northwest Everyone who is complaining about ICE enforcing it.

Everyone who is complaining about ICE enforcing it.

Such as? How about a reference?
justbob · 61-69, M
@Northwest Every news source in the country is reporting it. Climb out from under your rock.

@justbob You’re being intellectually dishonest. Grow up.

@Bumbles How am I dishonest? I am asking someone to point to what title and section of United States law Donald Trump is breaking by directing ICE to do its job and locate and deport these illegal immigrants.

I have heard several claims that he broke a law by doing this but so far nobody has cited a law that was broken.

I am just asking.

Every news source in the country is reporting it..

Yet, curiously enough, not a single media outlet is reporting that people are complaining about US Code 1325 enforcement.

Climb out from under your rock.

Watch something other than Fox, you may learn that people are complaining about Trump's overreach, authoritarian and dictatorial behavior, not US Code 1325 enforcement.

@Northwest But they keep claiming that he is breaking the law and I want to know what law that is. Doesn't seem like much for me to ask.
Bumbles · 56-60, M
@justbob Because you are intentionally misrepresenting your opponents points, and ICE’s methods, and doing so with dripping sarcasm. If you like what ICE is doing and how they doing it, just own it. Are you afraid of being honest about your opinions?

@justbob

Article I, Section 9 of the Constitution, which protects the writ, andSection 2241 of Title 28 of the U.S. Code.

Also undocumented immigration is a civil matter, not a criminal matter.
Misdemeanour differs from felony.

@basilfawlty89 Excellent! Well done and thank you very much. I will read those.

They... Who are they?

Your post is about U.S. Code 1325. So, can you possibly stick to your own post? I provided an answer, so you should emerge from the rock you're under (Fox).

If you'e asking what laws Trump could be breaking, the list includes:

Habeas Corpus: The privilege of habeas corpus cannot be suspended unless public safety requires it during a rebellion or invasion.

Bills of Attainder and Ex Post Facto Laws: Congress cannot pass laws that declare a person guilty of a crime without a trial or laws that make an action illegal after it has already been committed.

Direct Taxes: Congress cannot levy a direct tax (like a poll tax) unless it is in proportion to the census.

Appropriations: Money can only be drawn from the Treasury through appropriations made by law.

Foreign Emoluments: No person holding a public office can accept any gift, office, or title from a foreign state without Congressional consent.

But that's not really what the No Kings Day is about.

So, what exactly are you talking about?

@Northwest never mind. https://similarworlds.com/basilfawlty89 offered a coherent intelligent reply. You mat stop blithering at any time.
