What do u think of Trump’s announcement that acetaminophen (Tylenol) causes autism?

There are no studies that show that the mothers of children with autism actually took acetaminophen, in the studies quoted it was either they thought they had, or they had headaches and thought they took something, history from years before. The same limitation on the supposed control group whose mothers did not recall taking any.
I think it clearly proves that Trump is listening to misinformation and stupidly believing it as being a fact...

When there has been additional studies to prove this claim and the closest ones they have had just proves their is a general trend...

But there is also a general trend that more crime happenings in the Summer, and that people eat more ice cream in the summer.

That does NOT prove that eating ice cream causes crime, but that's what this Tylenol causes Autism seem to be suggesting.

I think a much more likely suggestion would be that pregnant women that get sick are at an increase likely to take Tylenol, and that a certain type of illness/sickness or during a certain time in the development is more likely to cause development issues. Not that they're nessarily directly connected.

I wouldnt even believe the truth if it one day came from that guy.

Infact why would you believe any health facts from a politician in general.

Thats like asking a blacksmith about your teeth.

If your curious about medication talk to a pharmacist.
His in-depth study and research came from listening to RFK Jr. HHS, at a meeting in what used to be known as the White House.

I thought it was circumcision.

P&G actually stated it wasn’t completely safe for pregnant women.
@3Dogmatic that's not even close to it causing autism though.

One in every 36 children has autism. Its coming from somewhere.
@Confined it’s not coming from Tylenol though; it’s simply being better diagnosed
