Well clearly golf clubs and vineyards are critical national infrastructure that need to be excepted from the rules . .

@sunsporter1649 DEAD WRONG!! AS USUAL!!

■ The claim originated on a website that describes its content as satire.
■ The U.S. Agency for International Development has not distributed any money to Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., for her Saint Helena, California, vineyard.

@ElwoodBlues The Auberge du Soleil, a five-star hillside hotel and spa with a panoramic view overlooking the vineyards of Napa Valley, appears to be first-rate in all ways but one. While the glamorous resort, an hour’s drive from San Francisco, fills rooms that routinely go for $2,000 a night with A-list celebrities and tech titans, financial records suggest it did not provide much of a return to at least two of its investors – Rep. Nancy Pelosi and her husband, Paul. That changed when it received millions in congressionally authorized COVID-19 relief in 2020 and 2021.

The Auberge du Soleil investment, held for decades by Paul Pelosi, has rarely turned a significant profit, according to Nancy’s financial disclosure forms. In some years, he has recorded a loss or a profit of between $50,000 to $100,000. But the year of the bailout money stands apart. In 2021, Pelosi’s ethics forms show that her family’s income from the resort surged to a range of $1 million to $5 million.

The French Riviera-themed resort may not be most people’s idea of a struggling business in need of a government bailout, yet the Auberge du Soleil – which shuttered briefly at the outset of the pandemic before swiftly rebounding – received about $9 million from a series of special taxpayer-funded emergency relief programs.

The previously unreported windfall is among several COVID bailouts that flowed to Pelosi-backed restaurants, hotels, and properties, including several Courtyard Marriott hotels.

A RealClearInvestigations analysis found that Pelosi’s profits spiked from a variety of holdings that won significant government rescue funds – which amounted to $28 million, a total more than previously known. For their family’s stake in the Auberge du Soleil, the Pelosis received more income in 2021, when bailout funds channeled to the resort, than any other time over the last 10 years.
@sunsporter1649 So no money to Pelosi from USAID for "experimental farming"?? Good to know.

Thus proving your original claim is a LIE
@sunsporter1649 You forgot these republicans who all received Covid money!!

Brett Guthrie (R-KY): A company with ties to Guthrie received a PPP loan of approximately $4.3 million.

Vern Buchanan (R-FL): Companies affiliated with Buchanan, one of the wealthiest members of Congress, received between $2 million and $6 million in PPP loans for car dealerships in Florida and North Carolina.

Markwayne Mullin (R-OK): Four companies owned by Mullin received PPP loans that totaled between $800,000 and over $2 million.

Kevin Hern (R-OK): The management company for McDonald's restaurants owned by Hern received between $1 million and $2 million in PPP loans.

Roger Williams (R-TX): Williams, another wealthy member of Congress, owns car dealerships that received a PPP loan valued between $1 million and $2 million.

Mike Kelly (R-PA): Three car dealerships owned by Kelly each received loans between $150,000 and $350,000.

Matt Gaetz (R-FL): A Pensacola-based company in which Gaetz held stock received a PPP loan between $350,000 and $1 million.

@sunsporter1649 USAID? Your "evidence" about USAID money to Pelosi was proven FALSE.

So you want to keep talking about USAID? OK, let's talk about USAID.

Apparently in Christian circles there is debate about whether what they refer to as "righteous works" (what others might call karma) can save one's own soul. And tRump has said that saving lives in Ukraine might save his soul.

Now let's just consider for a moment the possibility that the Lord God in his Heaven appreciates the saving of lives but doesn't really care about the skin color of those whose lives are saved via righteous works. Where am I going with this?

A recent study said that USAID helped save 91 million lives over the past 20 years, and that the cancellation of USAID funding could result in "more than 14 million preventable deaths by 2030 if USAID defunding continues, including more than 4 million children under five."

So if tRump were really interested in saving his soul – via saving as many lives as possible regardless of skin color – he would reinstate USAID funding just as fast as he could. But instead of saving lives, he's asking for money to be put under his personal control. You cannot serve both God and mammon, the Bible says, and it's clear which one tRump is serving.

“U.S. citizens contribute about 17 cents per day to USAID, around $64 per year. I think most people would support continued USAID funding if they knew just how effective such a small contribution can be to saving millions of lives," said Dr. James Macinko, professor in the UCLA Fielding School’s departments of Community Health Sciences and Health Policy and Management, and a co-author of the study published July 1.

Now you're asking about the benefits of early childhood education??
See https://www.unesco.org/en/articles/investing-early-childhood-care-and-education-yields-lifelong-benefits

We get it, cult members like you HATE education!!!

@ElwoodBlues How about spending $20,000,000 on American childhood education, or does that go against your principals?

Killed at least $1 billion for K-12 education
Trump Cancels Dozens of Education Grants—With More Terminations on the Horizon

The Trump administration has begun canceling dozens of competitive federal education grants years before they were set to expire—and the educators behind hundreds more in-progress projects are worried that funding delays mean their grants could be next.

More than $1 billion for current recipients of grants under at least seven distinct U.S. Department of Education programs—including for school desegregration, disability services, higher-education preparation, teacher training, and academic research—has yet to materialize just weeks before the new fiscal year begins, according to interviews with grant recipients, state education agencies, and advocacy organizations.

@ElwoodBlues So instead of forcing Federal dictates upon States to waste money on dei bullschiff and boys in girls locker rooms, States get to determine how Federal tax dollars are spent on education, since there is no more DoE to ram bullschiff down childrens throats to get proper funding for education. Is it not nice to have education funding decisions made by the people who are on the ground teaching instead of unelected bureaucrats in Washington?
@sunsporter1649 says
States get to determine how Federal tax dollars are spent on education
Oh really?? How much money for education is going to states pre- and post- tRump?? You can't answer that question, which means you can't support your latest claim either🤣😂

tRump's 2026 budget DESTROYS your claim:
roposes consolidating 18 K-12 grant programs, currently funded at about $6.5 billion, into a single "K-12 Simplified Funding Program" and cutting the total funding to just $2 billion.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@ElwoodBlues LOL, grants for what programs are being eliminated?

@sunsporter1649 Translation:
your latest bluff also failed🤣😂

@sunsporter1649 Do the math, sunstroke!

LGBTQ people are real and have been throughout history. Denying them is just as silly as all your other denials of reality.

tRump's 2026 budget proposes consolidating 18 K-12 grant programs, currently funded at about $6.5 billion, into a single "K-12 Simplified Funding Program" and cutting the total funding to just $2 billion.

You thought $4 billion was being spent on LGBTQ related education?? ROTFL!!

Admit it, tRump is GUTTING education spending in the US. And the red states are most dependent on government education grants; they're being hurt the worst.

(1) I've proved that your claim about $14 million from USAID to Pelosi for "experimental farming" (or any other purpose) is a LIE.
https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2025/mar/07/social-media/nancy-pelosi-didnt-get-14-million-in-usaid-funding/

(2) You whined about USAID and who benefits, and I proved that the main beneficiaries of USAID spending are the 90 million lives saved over the last 20 years, plus the 14 million at risk due to USAID cancellation.

(4) You whined about that $20 million going to US educational spending, and I proved that your lying orange pedophile felon
(a) killed $23 million for children's educational shows;
(b) chopped $1 billion out of current ed grants;
(c) for 2026 "proposes consolidating 18 K-12 grant programs, currently funded at about $6.5 billion, into a single "K-12 Simplified Funding Program" and cutting the total funding to just $2 billion.

(5) You whined that possibly a tiny fraction of that $4 billion was going to things you dislike, and I proved that tRump is GUTTING education spending in the US. And the red states are most dependent on government education grants; they're being hurt the worst.

@ElwoodBlues You also proved that less than 100 American citizens were abandoned to the raghead terrorists in afghanistan, hunters laptop was ruskie disinformation, the borders are secure, the economy was booming under sleppy joe, fuel prices have nothing to do with government intervention, 25,000,000 illegal aliens were merely avoiding persecution, there is no anti-sematism on college campuses, sleepy joe is as sharp as a tack, 320,000 children were not lost by the previous administration, American education is the best in the world because of all the money that was spent, no spy balloons were flown over the country by the chicoms, boys are really girls, Mar-A-Lago is worth $18,000,000, and sleepy joe created more jobs than any president in history. Anything else you wanna prove?
