When Desantis became the party darling and maybe the most talked about political figure in America a few years ago Trump had to come out and say Desantis owes his whole career to him and he'd be nowhere without Trump.
Recently Trump said Elon Musk would get down on one knee for him if he asked him to.
Now Taylor Swift owes her career to him too.
You see this pattern?
In Trump's head no one in the world can have success without him. Successful people bother him. Even a pop star. It bothers him on a level that a healthy mind can't even fathom. Only Donald Trump can have success.
I used to hear him on the Howard Stern show long before he entered politics. I used to hear him taking credit for everything under the sun and thought he was freakin nuts back then.
He's way more freakin nuts now. That God complex is ballooning.

@samueltyler2 He said her fame and fortune was because he signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act - for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists. Referencing legislation he signed in 2018 meant to modernize copyright laws. Thats not what made Swift rich and she owes Trump nothing. Cheers!

@Nanoose she was famous from age 17, well before he signed that law. I will look at that legislation. She is a self made billionaire, he takes him a money from others without doing much for it, and probably isn't as rich as he claims anyway.
Variety explained what the law he signed provides. Interesting, the payments to her, and other artists, as a result of this law started in 2021, well after she became famous, and rich.
