@plungesponge The weird thing is that this whole premise is bizarre. Weather forecasting has gotten crazy good recently. Our five-day forecasts are as accurate as one-day forecasts used to be in 1980.

And the accuracy is easy to track and get metrics on. A 5-day forecast is accurate 90% of the time. 7-day, 80%.

Similarly, we've seen huge improvements in storm forecasting over the last few decades.
