One of those nights

I haven’t really liked myself in a long time. What would make me happy? To just be at peace and to live a simple life. Away from cities and the rush of everything and the struggles of living in a society. In the tranquility of nature, where the whispers of the wind and the rustle of leaves become my companions. Where joy isn't elusive, and self-acceptance blooms like wildflowers in an untouched meadow.

But I know it's a pipe dream.

It's not a pipe dream, but i think you are looking at it backwards.... Sure, the rural life style has certain advantages, but inner peace is exactly that...inner, that's where it resides and flourishes and it can be found anywhere 🤗

This certain magazine cover of a certain femme will definitely bring you some joy 😉

@SwiftieShutterbug And of course all Swifties know what today is, so how are you celebrating? 😛
I think it's possible. I hope so, because I tell myself I'm working my way towards it. We need to keep 'dodging the traps' though, and realize that we'll have to let go of some things we love too. Good luck.
Are you a minimalist? If you like the idea of nature, consider that going to the countryside for a week-long holiday is an attractive thing. As someone who lives there, people don't really get the struggles of having to find supermarkets in the vast expanse, and things like essentials.

Maybe you need to consider how your thoughts are indeed beautiful, but nature doesn't put food on the table, and remote places usually are devoid of convenience stores. But perhaps the joy you are seeking, you will find within yourself. Coz there are many minimalists who live in the city but manage to find their way. This world is for those who want to find their path, even if it isn't already there. Also, there's nothing better than retail therapy for women, and in the country side, many women learn to do with less of this.
This makes me sad for you because we share the same love for nature and the comfort in simplicity. I face some limitations with nature myself and it tugs at the heartstrings, so I understand your struggle. Hopefully it won't be a pipe dream one day you can live the life you long for.🌸🌿
totally unrelated, but since your username includes 'shutterbug', what are your typical subjects?

Hmm....it appears you need a viewing of a certain world famous singer's mega-popular concert film. You might say it involves....Eras 😜

Its not pipe dream. The reality is to be with nature.
But humanity went far away from nature that's why it seems as dream.

I think we go through phases in our lives where different things speak to our souls....i hope you can make your dreams come true ...

When you find it, DO NOT to tell where it is, because if you do, there will soon to be film crews + tourst busses full of rubberneckers.
It is not a pipe dream. You can achieve it, might not be this moment but i just did it and love it.

But becoming the person you like is the first step. You know that now and its something some people never learn..😷

it sounds like you know what you need - just start looking

When you find that place ... treasure it.

Why does it have to be a pipe dream? Anything is possible.

@SwiftieShutterbug Ah yes, obligations and expectations... tough to ignore, but if it would bring you peace, contentment/happiness, then maybe it's time to examine those obligations and expectations. Just a thought, but often I've found obligations are obligations because I think they are... same as expectations. Sometimes you think this or that is expected of you... but is it? If it is, is it right/fair or even important?

@SwiftieShutterbug I get that, there are things that we simply must do, and those things do impact what we truly want for ourselves. Still, one has to find a way to at least be content, or why even bother?

Have you ever considered forgiving yourself. You are only human. If you can get that far, you will be fine..😷

@SwiftieShutterbug It is a process. In my case I get up every morning and remind myself not to make any decisions I will regret.. It helps..It really all boils down to your intent. If yours was good, you are half way there..😷
