Yes and no. I did decide to try working in the food service industry toward the end of my working career. I had been doing some catering, so I got a job as a sous chef. Unfortunately I didn't last long at all before I quit. The back pain was crippling me after being on my feet all day.

But we were not allowed to take food home unless we paid for it.

No but my partner does. He works at a meat shop so he brings home all kinds of things that don't sale at the end of the day.

]@floorgenadmin] 🤔yes i work in well know supermarket chain in the united kingdom and stuff that has been reduced and not sold and because of the date cannot be sold next day
I used to work at Roy Roger's and got to take fried chicken home.

Besides that I was always picking at the French fries or I'd steal a chicken wing during my shift.
