The reason trickle-down economics never worked is it assumes

that if corporate billionaires pay less in taxes, they'll use the extra wealth to hire more workers or raise wages. But the goal of corporate billionaires is not to rescue workers from poverty. It's to maximize profit while spending as little as possible on everyone else.

And the idea might actually work, if the only tax deduction available was reinvesting those extra dollars into the future of the business. But Armani suits, french Champagne and Porsches dont help the local community of even the nation at all. Much less the share buy backs that most of these profits go to now..😷
