Do illegals have to pay taxes and file a report on all the free benefits they're getting (shelter, food, medical care, dental care, etc) or is this just something inflicted on taxpaying, legal residents? Seems to me that all that stuff is income.

If I was an illegal (I'm US born/several generations Latino living near the border) one of the best ways to get caught and hauled back to Mexico the same day would be to file a tax return. Fuck no they don't.

@graphite no if they did they would get deported

No, "legal" citizens nor "legal" residents do not report free housing or food stamps received. NO ONE reports free, in whole or in part, the medical or dental services they receive.

@PatKirby If someone uses a borrowed or fake social security number when hired in January 2023, the wages, name and social security number don't get reported to the social security admin until the end of January 2024 when the employer sends them a copy of the W2. If the name and number don't match, they then check with the employer to see if they made a mistake. This translates into up to an 18 month window to use a fake ID with no one having a clue.

Yes and that's a felony. Goes to show what lengths dishonest people go in thinking, working and manipulating the system at the expense of everyone else who is honest and hardworking - the US taxpayer.

I can add no more to this lucid and important point made here.

@ManKing So much for equal protection of the laws. People here illegally are clearly superior in the eyes of federal and state governments.
