Should Liberals Support the 2nd Amendment?
Think about it, if those crazy right wing nuts do take over, they might come to appreciate that particular right...! Jus sayin'

We do support the second amendment. In fact, I myself have suggested that we should form a militia in every state, as well as an overarching national militia. These militias, or armed forces if you prefer, would have access to high-powered weaponry, which would be kept securely at a sort of base of operations. This way, the weapons would not fall into the hands of untrained people. As a matter of fact, we could easily divide these armed forces into land, sea, and air. Do you see where I'm going with this?

@LordShadowfire I do, in fact this was the intent of the country's founders. What we have now however is a centralized military industrial complex which in no way resembles this goal. I will point out also that when needed in some sort of emergency situation it can be impractical to have to run to the local armory to retrieve smaller less powerful weapons, these are more properly stored and maintained individually. I will also point out that I have the greatest admiration for your weak-assed attempt to be clever!! I almost lol'ed...
