I’d never encountered MSN news before as I’ve never had a need for it, but I understand peoples problems with it.
You might have heard that from someone who is a conservative, I’ve seen it before here. By US standards I’m a centrist or moderate, and since the pandemic I’m very choosy about where I get my news from and like to corroborate it with sources that are not aligned with each other. Where the dots connect there might be some truth.
After an IT update our company home page has reverted to MSN, which seems to post opinion rather than news. Or to rehash old news from a different commentary angle - but written to be alarmist or informative.
It even dares to presume you need moral guidance, where “journalists” post articles like “things you cannot say to children” or “habits we must not continue” or “things from the 1980s that are unacceptable.”
Really? Who do these media studies graduates think they are to tell us what to think and how to act? Thank goodness MSN can be easily dismissed and forgotten as the worthless tripe it is. The articles seem to be heavily down voted or argued to the bare bones in the comments so I’m surprised it soldiers on its sanctimonious little way.
