A rant of sorts.

Government of the wealthy, by the wealthy with liberty and justice for the wealthy.

This corruption of both the Gettysburg address and the pledge of allegiance may seem nothing more than just a farcical corruption of both, yet I find today's standards are just as farcical.

For the wealthy seem to be at the most advantageous when it comes to government, as well as liberty for themselves.

What brings me to say this is from numerous factors. From the latest Brink's robbery to Bannon and the January 6th investigation of his knowledge of the event.

The Brink's robbery is a demonstration by their lack of willingness to pay for the insurance to cover their own losses as well as Brink's own statement saying they will abide by their contract. In other words, they won't pay for the total losses. Just what the insurance covers which actually is their own company.

Yet they are still responsible for the lack of security. So their own customers are out millions.

The case with Bannon demonstrates this initial statement by the numbers of lawyers that someone is paying to prevent disclosure of evidence to Congress at the January 6th investigation.

A third case is the little known murder of the wife of certain wealthy man whose family was of great influence in West Virginia. Only after decades of no investigation and after his drop in prominence with the natural passing of his family as well as wealth did he ever become suspect.

Her death is only now being investigated by a so called boating accident. Yet what if he was still wealthy and prominent?

It's these and many many more situations that makes me revolt against this system of so called justice.

The investigation into Trump himself is only just a symptom of the disease of wealth. The wealthier you are the worse the disease.

Government by the people and for the people is such a misnomer today that Lincoln himself, a real republican that believed in the "conservation" of liberties of "the people", would be rolling in his grave right now!

End of rant!

@DeWayfarer *pillar. And there is no Conservative party in the US. It's the Republican party. There is a small state Conservative party here in New York, but it wields little real power.

Corrected.

the trumpet's are still calling themselves "conservatives"! That's what matters.

@MalteseFalconPunch what does based mean?
RedBaron · M
Wealth brings with it advantages in life. Nothing new about that. But it used to be worse. One had to be white, male, and a property owner to vote.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@RedBaron oh come on now, you'd fall for the get rich schemes if you believe that stuff.

He gets paid to put that out!
RedBaron · M
@DeWayfarer Believe what, the reality of compensatory power? Do you even know who Galbraith was? If it's not a real thing, what's your explanation for why you are compelled to show up on time and do your job?
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@RedBaron I have no desire to even want to know what you are talking about.

The boat goes both ways....
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@sunsporter1649 there are hundreds centuries of evidence to say contrary!

What's really messed up is, that's exactly what the founding fathers intended.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire Sadly, with most of them, that's true.

Above absolutely no trumpet has ever said!

@DeWayfarer But you have a closed mind just like them, so you're no better. I pity you for your lack of intellectual curiosity.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@RedBaron I pitty you for your supposed intellectual superiority.

It's just as telling as a get rich quick scheme.

Notice I don't use foul words?
