Is it just me that thinks Biden and NATO are sacrificing Ukraine to Russia ?

How can the world abandon a peaceful country from a dictator. Has Europe learned nothing ?
BlueVeins · 22-25
The US & various European nations have donated arms and other goods to Ukraine to help them fight Russia. They've sanctioned the shit out of Russia, and have generally done everything they can short of starting a nuclear war. Ukraine's done a phenomenal job fighting Russia, and Russia's showed signs of serious turmoil and heavy losses; further, they've indicated that they're going to back off from the attempted invasion of western and central Ukraine. I dislike Biden, but I would change almost nothing about the way he handled this situation.
Briggett · T
@BlueVeins they could. I know it’s a the biggest risk since WWII. I get it but united front by the 32 could possibly have done something.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@Briggett They should have broken off all diplomatic and trade relations with Russia, expelled it from the UN, and threatened an immediate and devasting attack on any country that continues relations with Russia.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Diotrephes So in other words, started a nuclear war.

so i did a tarot reading iwth th equestion, what should teh US do about Russia and i got two cards. one summe dup says -" Likewise, the situation you're asking about needs to find its own balance to succeed." and also another card that said "...some cycles are ending so new ones can begin. Using this fresh energy of change can create brand new opportunities." Justice and Death (which denotes change)

so after seeing that, i'd say it goes with my thoughts on the matter, to go with my nonchalant interest in the subject - let them deal with it themselves and whatever happens will happen. i know it's sad people are getting killed , but to intervene? what good would that do? i mean, do we kill the Russians and send our own countrymen to fight and possibly die for this cause? people would still be getting killed. do we supply weapons or financial assistance? i know it's sad. maybe we should all donate to help ease the suffering of the ukrainians. I suppose thats something we could all do at least. but for the US to get politically involved?

like, what if the Ukraine was attacking Russia, would we go to Russia's aid instead? I dont understand politics.

This is a scenario where nuclear arms have in fact aided a conflict, not discouraged it.

Any direct military confrontation between NATO and Russia would escalate fast, with many dead, economies ruined - or worst case, nuclear war. That's NATO's hesitation, as well as the fact that NATO are a defensive alliance who will step in against any affront to a member state - Ukraine aren't a member state so NATO aren't beholden to that level of intervention.

That said - between munitions and sanctions, NATO/EU/UN have been very effective for Ukraine/against Russia. Modern warfare isn't troops on the ground; it's cyber warfare, economic warfare etc. which is what we're currently witnessing against Russia.

This situation was set up by American politicians who have investments over there. Hunter Biden and his daddy Joe have a vested interest and No-Name McStain and Lindsey Graham were messing around before the coup promising them all kinds of stuff, they said they’d get them anything they needed.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@4meAndyou adrenochrome was being manufactured there. They were trafficking children to do it, and torturing them for years to get that adrenochrome.
@cherokeepatti Ah, money talks, bullshit walks and sometimes things just fall through the cracks, leaving someone holding the bag.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@soar2newhighs those pharmaceutical companies have blood on their hands. Everyone who got this situation set up does including politicians and investors, shippers and traffickers…a huge amount of people involved in this mess.
They’re losing it.. it’s not like they’re NOT desperately trying to hold it going off the wall to wall propaganda..

Soon all the corruption will be exposed and undeniable
reflectingmonkey · 51-55, M
I think this is the harsh reality, maybe we have the choice between doing nothing or starting ww3 with full-on nuclear weapons being used and earth becoming a freakin apocalypse. maybe we can only give them as much indirect help as we can but the consequence of getting involved more than we are is just too terrible to consider.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
The Americans imposed dictators on Ukraine. Russia is helping Ukrainians get rid of the latest one.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
Every pharmaceutical company has a bio lab in Ukraine. Those companies bought out the politicians.
No, you’re not alone in feeling that way.
MarineBob · 56-60, M
Is Ukraine paying NATO or USA any money
You might be right....

So many think that it was an arranged agreement between the US and Russian governments to allow Russia take over Ukrain and for the US and European government to negotiate and sign JCPOA with Iran instead...
cycleman · 61-69, M
Be patient and let the two wear each other out before stepping in and cleaning up all the broken pieces. Great money making road is ahead.
Nobody wants to be first to start WW3. But they will eventually start it anyway. He is a modern day Hitler!
4meAndyou · F
Biden is aligned with pure evil. He will do whatever his handlers tell him to do.
MethDozer · M
Not really. There's just not much you can do when the promise of nucleae assault if you do has been put on the table. It really sucks. Honestly though this is just a demonstration of the failed and shortided idea that opening up markets in unfavorable nations such as Russia or China for that matter is an ignorant method of creating cooperation and change. But market investors get what market investors want and they truly beleive that market expansion and wealth creation in hostile nations is somehow going to make them friendlier.
