Economy is slowly getting worse

Walmart is apparently hiding prices now in some stores. That's wild. Apparently this has been going on with numerous customers. Walmart says it's changing the way it prices things but people are accusing Walmart of hiding price hikes

I don't believe that that would be legal in the UK. Then again, you never know how much anything is in North America until you get to the checkout and the taxes are added on. Crazy system and weighted against the customer, it seems to me,

@FreddieUK That is just one of numerous reasons why I use the Walmart app rather than go into the store and buy things.
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@LordShadowfire Good to know that there is a helpful way round it.

@FreddieUK Oh in America you do whatever you want if you're white and far right. Don't get me wrong, you can kinda get away with doing whatever if you're any other race but you need to be maga to get away with it and hate your own race by spouting a lot of far right wing rhetoric about black single mothers and black on black crime while ignoring white on white crime.

So you can get away with a lot but you have to meet specific criteria in the states, there's a check list

The US recession is going to hit everybody HARD this Christmas.

FTR… A recession is classed as Two or more consecutive quarters of economic decline of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and the US has already had one of those.

Thank Trumps Tariff Tax for pushing America into a recession.

Merry Christmas y’all.

Even the Texas State Fair is running $2,000,000 behind budget this year. They have abysmal attendance.

Compared to Canada, the price of anything in the USA has skyrocketed which of course is because of Trump's tariffs.

The reason prices have not skyrocketed in Canada is because Canadians stopped buying American imported products, even if there was a Canadian-imposed tariff on American goods entering Canada.

This means Canadians are "Buying Canadian" rather than buying American these days, which ultimately means that Canadians don't pay tariff expenses on Canadian-made goods because they have a choice of which country to buy from. In Canadian supermarkets, fruits and vegetables are separated in the aisle where posted signs show either 'Grown in Canada' or 'Product of the USA'.

Guess which shelves go empty first in Canada?
Go ahead, I'll give you 3 guesses...

America did this recession to itself. Americans got who they voted for TWICE ...and who Americans voted for TOLD Americans BEFORE he was Elected to POTUS, that he would be imposing tariffs on all countries who want to sell their goods and services on American store shelves. Trump did exactly that.

Except it isn't the exporting country who pays those tariffs when their stuff ends up on American store shelves, it's the American consumer who pays those tariffs. This is because the tariff is built-in to the export price of goods from other countries as those goods cross the border into the USA.

As far as Texas is concerned, those who live in the State of Texas were among the greatest proponents of Trump's dumb-shitte idea to make America great again.

Well, here y'all are, watching your big man make America great again.

What now? What's MAGA's plan 'B' since plan 'A' has failed? 🤷🏼‍♀

@justanothername Oh but it's okay cos ice had 40 billion yearly to prop them up, it's gonna be wonderful *sarcasm*

After all maga says they wanted this
No, stocks and profits are near record highs. GDP is growing.
Your well-being has nothing to do with your output.
You voted for two parties who are against socialism.
So wellbeing isn't s thing you aim for.

I shop at Walmart for specific things like paper products, but I tend to avoid purchasing vegetable there because they don't really have cold storage inside the store which is what veggies require. That is why Walmart is not a supermarket, but more like a 7-11 convenience store when it comes to food items.

Paper towels are one thing I've noticed where the price is nowhere to be found, until of course you're going through the checkout and find out then!

Many things in Walmart are more expensive than what I've found in a supermarket, so Walmart is really not the answer for cheap stuff, but it is the answer if you need trinket-shitte that's made in China.
tRump is using his shutdown as an excuse to prevent the Bureau of Labor Statistics from releasing key sept data like the jobs report. Investors are currently flying blind.
justanothername · 51-55, M
@ElwoodBlues Grinder boy Johnson is also using the shut down as a means to avoid taking the vote on releasing the Epstein files and signing in the new Arizona state Democrat.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@ElwoodBlues Trump should be arrested
You don't actually shop at a walmart do you?
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@independentone Nope. I can never find anything anyways. I am selective and on keto but kinda weird on veggies 😅

Trump will have a civil war between Republicans and MAGA, two separate entities now.
justanothername · 51-55, M
@swirlie Trump is edging closer to forcing a Civil War upon Americans.
