Plato was like that too, also Aristotle, very humane people compared to what passes for careful conservatism today.

Plato like shared living including all adults caring for all children...and Aristotle thought the rich should pay more to keep things more or less equitable.

Folks like that are branded flaming irresponsible radicals now. But life SURE WOULD BE better.
