The more I read posts on here / debate with people the more convinced I am that Americans have no idea what Communism, Socialism is. Personally I believe in pragmatism. Some things are best done by yourself. Some by private companies, for profit, and some by Government, for the public good. Any political system followed religiously falls apart after time.

The reason why your seeing more Military expenditures is because America is trying to hold to what it has, that's why there're so much brainwashing going on online about joining the military.
The old Soviet Union did not have an equality and the hirer up on the food chain you were the more you had. Sorry not buying this at all. One of the biggest caste systems I have ever seen.

@22Michelle The Soviet Union was the PERFECT model of socialism for the world. It showed the logical conclusion to Marx's extremely flawed ideas. The other perfect model of socialism for the world was Nazi Germany, and it's NATIONAL SOCIALISM.

This forum is sort of an example of American social media. It is not censored. There are mainstream American capitalist conservatives (which make up most of America) like me. And there are far left Nazi Socialist liberals here, spewing hate and racism. None of that is censored. This place has more respect for the First Amendment than any other spot I can think of.
idk, communism seems more like keeping everyone down to me and apparently the beginnings of socialism are theft. those people may be insanely wealthy but they got their money fairly. it wouldnt be right to just take it away.

They include people likeh Andrew Carnegie, John D Rockefeller, etc. Some of these having accumulated vast wealth using very dubious, in some cases criminal, business practices did give large sums to various charities. Carnegie's Gospel of Wealth belueved personal wealth carried a moral obligation, and he despised inherited wealth, believing it should be heavily taxed. Nowadays the term is being used for those in the Tech industries like Zuckerberg, Musk, Bezos, etc. It should be noted that most of these, whilst donating what appears to be large sums it is indeed a very small fraction of their wealth, and some of those donations benefit them personally.
The entitlements that make social equality possible and likely are enumerated in the UN charter. They're a matter of law. Fascism in the USA is very denislist. You don't know nothing bout no socialism and no reason why it's your responsibility! You don't want that kind of future! War. Y'all love war!
@MasterLee If it were really equal opportunities the likes of Trump and Musk would be cleaning toilets. Inherited wealth should be against Capitalist principles. Good education for all should be their basic principle.
@22Michelle Trump worked in his father's construction yards as a kid. He EARNED his status. Brought his father's company to Manhattan. Borrowed a million dollars and had to pay it back. He then created an eight billion dollar international empire. That's not something that is inherited. That is called EARNED,.
You welfare bums might look up the word EARN. Those welfare checks you receive in the mail come from BORROWED funds, which means the taxpayers who will be stuck with the bill haven't even been born yet.

@Reason10 You're missing out the millions his father passed to him for several years to avoid inheritance tax, aka tax evasion.. Some estimates put the figure as high as £400M. Putting that kind of money into New York real estate and anybody would make big money. The facts show however that Trump's money came almost 100% from his father, mainly in very dodgy / illegal tax avoidance / evasion.
You will always be disappointed. Here are the rules: 1. Equality will never exist. Humans are not clones. None of us are alike. We are all unique.
2. Communism and Socialism are the ENEMY of any kind of a good life, but they make everyone EQUALLY MISERABLE. Communist/Socialist countries represent the GHETTOS of the world. Feel free to move there at your earliest opportunity.
The only true example of equality at work is the United States FREE MARKET CAPITALIST system of government. In America, there is EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITY.
It is ILLEGAL to discriminate in America based on race, color, national origin, creed, religion, sex. EQUAL OPPORTUNITY.
All other attempts at "equality" have failed miserably. Some much worse than others, especially the Socialist model.
