I Hate Capitalism

This is capitalism

@TeresaRudolph71: There are different branches in distributism. Personally I support private property, but with laws to prevent a huge accumulation of assets, especially housing and land.
TeresaRudolph71 · 51-55, F
Hmm, okay. I don't really agree with limiting how much wealth someone may accumulate, though I do agree with giving everyone an equal opportunity to be successful.

@TeresaRudolph71: To some extent I believe it is necessary. Otherwise oligarchy rules

I hate capitalism. But I have to live within such a system,

It is not wrong to have. But when you have, don't forget the ones who don't. Don't become a robot who is devoid of feelings and all sense of right and wrong. Don't become a thug whose cronies beat people up and then denies it to cover up your arse. Don't be indifferent and close your eyes to the suffering of others, because if you do that, you are not any better than the one who inflicted it in the first place.

We cannot change this inhuman system but we can educate our children to be critical thinkers.

@Cierzo: Nah, I've made myself pretty clear. I understand that you don't want to deal with what's on the table though. You can't without dropping the pretense.
novembermoon · 51-55
@Sicarium: 'code words every socialist uses'? I am laughing so hard.
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@novembermoon: Do you often laugh at truth? That explains the hate towards capitalism.
Free market and marketing ... have never lived well together

The first makes possible the second ... the second restructures the first, so it is no longer free and rational.
Interesting. I pegged you as traditionally right-wing after the admiring Putin and Orban comments. This is a bit of an improvement.

@Cierzo: I'm glad to see that you're skeptical about democracy. You know that in a democracy, if two wolves and a sheep are voting on what should be on the menu for dinner, the sheep is out of luck. But in a republic, the sheep is protected by a shepherd, and perhaps a barbed-wire fence and a pack of maremmas.

@TeresaRudolph71: I think democracy may work in a small community where people know each other and they can choose the truly fittest to rule. But not in our huge countries. We have candidates with the seal of approval of corporate and financial powers, usually devoid of ethics and human quality, who will only serve the interests of these elites
TeresaRudolph71 · 51-55, F
@Cierzo: We like to think that there are good candidates for public office, but we are all too often disappointed. But yes, sometimes democracy can work in small communities.
Sicarium · 46-50, M
Work harder then.
Cierzo · M
@Sicarium: The wealth of a person depends on how much he works? Are you being cynical or just an ignorant?
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@Cierzo: I'm being dismissive. I thought it was rather obvious.
ReaperofTime · 46-50, M
Soon it will be. If youre not rich. Fuck you ....walk to san fransisco
Cierzo · M
@ReaperofTime: It is being more like this every day
